Domain 3: Learning Experiences
3a: Communicating about Purpose and Content
Having class discussions in a circle formation allows students to practice listening to their peers and having community discussions about classroom expectations, the purpose of the lesson, or even instructions.

3b: Using Questioning and Discussion Techniques
Within my lesson plans, I have made it a priority to highlight the different aspects of Bloom's Taxonomy within my Learning Objectives and making sure each lesson had an end goal of students understanding or engaging with the the content.

3c: Engaging Students in Learning
Within our Anatomy/Kinesiology Unit, students first were challenged to build a human skeleton out of the bone magnets in 2 minutes in order to see what we knew. Then, we corrected any mistakes and completed the skeleton to learn the different bones. After reviewing, we played a game called "Isolate Dem Bones where students picked out of the bag of the bone cards and performed movement that just uses that bone/body part.

3d: Using Assessment for Learning
In order for students to understand the end goal of an assignment, students are provided a checklist of what is needed to accomplish the assignment. This is the same checklist or rubric that they are graded on which allows me to track how the class did on the assignment and maybe where further help is needed next class.

3e: Responding Flexibly to Students
Assisting students in all levels needs showed me the importance of making information accessible and flexible for the students. Knowing that students may enter class ill, injured, or needing a break, I provide students with correlating worksheets to the lessons in order to differentiate the information taught based on student needs. Allowing students to have a word wall provides visuals and ideas for their movement generation when in the creative process.
